n. The kakapo—a.k.a. 'night parrot,' a.k.a. 'owl parrot,'—is a large, nocturnal, ground-dwelling bird native to New Zealand.
So why the kakapo? Well, our CEO was born in New Zealand, and he's filled out the engineering team with these large, screechy birds in tribute.
