The post Insightly Celebrates Pride Month appeared first on Insightly.
]]>According to the US Library of Congress, “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month is currently celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising was a tipping point for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. In the United States the last Sunday in June was initially celebrated as “Gay Pride Day,” but the actual day was flexible. In major cities across the nation the “day” soon grew to encompass a month-long series of events.”
At Insightly, it is our goal to celebrate Pride, not only in June, but in day to day life. For Pride Month 2022, there is a specific line-up of activities and engagements to honor and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, with the intention of carrying that sentiment with us throughout the rest of the year.
This is what Pride looks like at Insightly:
“Pride month is a great opportunity to celebrate and reflect on the progress that’s been made by the LGBTQ+ community and our allies. I’ve been out for over 20 years. Sharing your unique worldview at work is a powerful way to live with authenticity and integrity. Insightly is incredibly supportive of everyone bringing their whole self to work and celebrates the importance of diverse perspectives.” – Melinda, Director of Product Marketing
“Insightly is the most welcoming and accepting company I’ve ever worked for. Insightly doesn’t just tell me it’s okay to be different, they empower me to be my truest self.” – Christian, Account Executive
“I’m new to Insightly, but I’ve had a blast so far. As an out queer man in 2022, it’s more important than ever to feel both accepted and celebrated at home and at work. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many people here that have shown me all that and more. So far so good!” – Harryson, Customer Marketing Manager
Here are the initiatives we have planned for Pride Month and beyond. During Pride Month, we will:
Most importantly, during this month we will listen to the LGBTQIA+ community to learn how to provide support year round.

TrustRadius analyzed every review collected in 2021 word by word across 25,820 products and 800 categories. The most beloved products were determined by comparing mentions of “love” in all its (grammatical) forms to the total number of reviews received for each product.
Just 101 products emerged from this process as the winners of TrustRadius’ 2022 Most Loved Award. These products earned the highest ratio of “love” per review across the entire TrustRadius platform.

]]>The post Manufacturers improve operations & grow annual revenues 18% appeared first on Insightly.
]]>With this in mind, we recently reached out to Insightly manufacturing customers to learn about their experience and changes observed as a result of implementing Insightly CRM. We asked questions that covered common operational and business areas in manufacturing: from planning and forecasting through production, inventory management, sales, distribution, and customer service.
In this post we share key takeaways from 115 manufacturers who completed our anonymous email survey. We hope these insights will help decision-makers and CRM administrators in manufacturing companies to evaluate their own CRM needs and select the right solution.
We asked questions in the following categories:
User adoption
User adoption, or a process of adopting and using a new CRM by its intended users, is one of the top concerns of any company that’s introducing a CRM to the team for the first time or is switching to a new one. After all, it doesn’t matter how sophisticated and powerful a CRM is if your team finds it hard to adopt and incorporate in their daily work.
Not surprisingly, when asked why they chose Insightly CRM, 57% of our survey respondents cited “adoption and ease of use” as one of the most important factors in their decision-making.
But adoption is only the first step in ensuring ROI in any new technology —consistent, frequent, and as-intended usage is what determines its long-term benefits. To that end, we learned that 77% of manufacturers use Insightly CRM on a daily basis.
Productivity
Automating repeatable processes to minimize human error and save time across different workflows and departments is critical to ensuring productivity.
In our survey, 42% of respondents reported improvement in “implementing repeatable business processes” (workflow automation) and 39% reported overall improvement in employee productivity as a result of using Insightly CRM.
Users also reported slashing weekly hours spent on administrative and routine tasks.
Customer insights
The soundness of your business decisions depends on the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of your customer data analytics. Access to a single source of truth with a 360-degree view of your customer allows you to align your teams and engage with customers at the right time with the right message, build superior products and customer experience, and make solid business decisions.
In our survey, 69% of respondents reported having a more accurate source of information on their customers, sales, and projects as a result of implementing Insightly CRM and 47% reported improvements in understanding and reporting sales performance.
ROI and revenue growth
Of those survey respondents who were able to observe results, 70% saw positive ROI within the first year of using Insightly CRM.
As far as revenue, survey respondents reported 18% annual revenue growth as a result of using Insightly CRM.
The degree to which manufacturers are able to streamline their operations and improve productivity has a direct impact on the quality of their customer and business relationships, ability to scale and, ultimately, grow business.

]]>The post Grow revenues 20% annually with Insightly + Office 365 appeared first on Insightly.
]]>Spoiler alert: after implementing Insightly CRM, businesses grew their annual revenues by 20%. Below are more survey findings across the following categories: productivity, customer insights and relationships, adoption and use, and return on investment.
Increased Productivity
Regardless of business size, workforce automation and the ability to easily integrate existing IT systems with new products and services are critical to ensuring team productivity and sustained business growth. With its key integrations, like Office 365, Insightly allows businesses to automate common tasks and processes, as well as customize their CRM experience, so that teams can easily collaborate and spend less time on mundane administrative tasks and more time on high-impact work and creative solutions for their customers.
So, in order to better understand Insightly’s impact on productivity, we asked survey participants to compare how much time they spent on searching for information and other administrative tasks before and after implementing Insightly and Office 365 integration.
After adopting Insightly CRM, on average, respondents reported spending 1.4 fewer hours per week on administrative tasks, such as searching for information, reconciling different programs, and/or data entry.
Half of the respondents reported improved coordination among marketing, sales, and customer support departments; 49% saw improvement in employee productivity.
76% of respondents reported having more accurate customer, sales, and project data, after adopting Insightly.
Deeper Customer Insights, Meaningful Customer Relationships
Recognizing the importance of customer data in building meaningful relationships and cultivating brand loyalty, we asked our customers how their understanding of customers had changed after integrating Insightly and Office 365.About 67% of respondents reported their understanding of customers improved by “a lot” or “a great deal” after implementing Insightly and Office 365 and, on average, reported managing five additional meaningful customer relationships (per representative).Fast Adoption, Ease of Use
For any CRM — to justify its total cost of ownership and deliver long-term value — user adoption and consistent, as-intended use, are non-negotiable. With that in mind, we asked survey participants to share the time it took them to integrate Insightly CRM and Office 365 and describe their ongoing use of Insightly.
For 50% of survey respondents, it took less than 10 minutes to integrate Insightly with Office 365.
After implementing the integration, 85% of respondents reported “regular” or “high” use of Insightly for day-to-day work. Positive Return on Investment, Growth
Insightly CRM was designed as a turnkey solution for businesses, providing them fast time to value. In our survey, we asked if businesses saw an increase in their revenues and how soon after implementing Insightly they observed results. Here’s what we found.
Those who’d been using Insightly for a year or longer reported more than 20% increase in annual revenue.
Of all the respondents who reported a positive return on investment, 45% saw results within three months after implementing Insightly CRM and Office 365 integration.

The System Settings page is now organized into logical parent categories, such as Security, Objects and Fields, and User Interface, with child categories appearing under each one.
Settings functions are now searchable, so admins don’t have to scan the page to find what they’re looking for.
We’ve introduced sortable list views to settings such as Users and Workflow Processes, allowing admins to quickly sort lists and focus on what’s important.
Custom Fields are now live in Objects and Fields. Read on to learn why.

We’ve added five new custom field types available to all Insightly customers.
Additionally, we’ve added decimal functionality to all number value fields.

Sometimes you have two dropdown fields that relate to each other, and you want to control what options are available in the second one.
To illustrate, let’s say a company sells two different models of cars (Big, Little), and two different models of trucks (Big, Little).
Without Field Dependencies, here’s how the company might define their dropdowns:
This seems like an acceptable solution until we consider a company with, say, 10 categories of products, each with 20 different SKUs. In that case, Dropdown 2 would have 200 options(!), much to the frustration of anyone who has to fill out the record.
Here’s how it works with Field Dependencies.
If you’re so inclined, it’s also possible to chain together as many of these dependencies as you need.

This is the big one.
With this release, Insightly admins can use the new drag-and-drop interface to design one or more* custom Layouts for each object. Layouts affect the appearance of records when users viewed, created, or edited. This feature is extremely valuable for data security, data accuracy, and end user experience.
Functionality includes:

With this feature, you can now design functional layouts and assign them to the right user or group of users in your organization.
Insightly customers using Advanced Permissions can create up as many Page Layouts as needed. Then, these custom layouts can be assigned to Advanced Permissions profiles.
From then on, users who bear that profile will only see what they need to see: Sales reps see sales fields, Service reps see service fields. It also applies read-only and required fields settings to that user group for enhanced security and data integrity.
We at Insightly are super excited for this release, and hope you are too. Give it a try and let us know what you think!

With Custom Objects you can finally build 360-degree view of the customer — all your customer data in one place — and, ultimately, build lifelong customer relationships.
